Message from the President

We are beginning the 38th year of the Financial Planning Forum.  The Forum is renowned for the stimulating variety of speakers as well as our networking opportunities.  One unique aspect of the Forum is our broad spectrum of professions.  We look forward to continuing that tradition of diversity.  Our mission continues to be both education and networking opportunities.

Transitions

With heavy hearts we say a farewell of sorts to Karin Swanson as the FPF Treasurer and Administrator.  Karin held these roles for over thirty years.  She has been instrumental in supporting our organization with membership drives, meeting coordination and registration, and the finances.  Karin persevered through enormous changes as we adopted technological enhancements.  She leaves big shoes to fill.  She promises to continue as a member.

To ensure a smooth transition, the Board is thrilled to announce the hiring of Neal Coogler as our new Administrator.  Neal manages several highly visible and successful organizations.  We enthusiastically welcome her to the Forum.  As part of her responsibilities Neal will assist with our renewals and meeting registrations.  Please extend a hearty welcome to Neal who can be reached at 408-799-7235 or info@financialplanningforum.org

Thank You's

Krista Conover, our past president, worked diligently to ensure a smooth administrator transition.  An enormous thank you to her for all her dedication to the Forum and the strong position the Forum retains due to her efforts.  Other Board changes include the stepping down of Jennifer Cray at the end of last year.  Jennifer was an enthusiastic contributor who will be missed.  And we welcome two new Board members: Joel Jakubson and Nick Rugh.

The Forum wishes to thank Borel Private Bank & Trust Company for hosting the member reception prior to the September 28th meeting. Join us for networking!

We anticipate a great year and look forward to seeing you at our meetings.
